The race started.
Your run is faster with pace
You are precise at everything.
Your marks, numbers and statistics.
Your job, not career, and money.
Your achievements, promotions, rewards speak louder.
You craved for approvals and confirmations from others
Your run is faster with pace
You are precise at everything.
Your marks, numbers and statistics.
Your job, not career, and money.
Your achievements, promotions, rewards speak louder.
You craved for approvals and confirmations from others
More impressions and tags.
You sank others to stay afloat
You thought you would win the race.
Days were rolling on.
Gradually you have realized
that the race is infinite
and you are in a vicious loop
Now, you are mere a cog in the wheel
like a restless performer
before the ever changing spectators.
Your run is not a means to your happiness,
rather, you are means to someone else.
Finally when you stopped running
everything is void and ceased
All the tags are vanished
neither the race nor the spectators
It is not about that you have abandoned us,
but the truth that you have abandoned yourself.
You sank others to stay afloat
You thought you would win the race.
Days were rolling on.
Gradually you have realized
that the race is infinite
and you are in a vicious loop
Now, you are mere a cog in the wheel
like a restless performer
before the ever changing spectators.
Your run is not a means to your happiness,
rather, you are means to someone else.
Finally when you stopped running
everything is void and ceased
All the tags are vanished
neither the race nor the spectators
It is not about that you have abandoned us,
but the truth that you have abandoned yourself.

Nice one MK - the underlying philosophy was well thought of and nicely presented.
Extremely well written man.. The use of three words have been done in a very subtle manner and as usual this post of urs also contains that punch.. :)
A very well written post and very impressive.
@ Mahesh
Beautiful!
Such a content post!
So well the words choosen to give it a meaning and a flow of image/prospective!
Vicious Loop- speaks a aloud!
The hush of life so well contructed using those three words!
~ Hmm...So you are slowing getting into a Vicious loop of Prose!
From fiction to prose a beautiful and an excellent moved!
~ You excel in both at the best:)
YOu definitely...
~Keep the Spark ALive..
@ Gyanban..
Thanks buddy
@Sushoban..
Thanks for the response buddy :)
@ Chowla ji..
Thank you sir :)
@ Rachana..
Thanks for the appreciation buddy...
May i know why did you call this genre as prose?
BTW, why vicious?
is my writing that bad? ...any hints plz?
and that too a loop?....Am i repeating myself here?
Please frankly opine your feedback so that i can check the tracks..
:) :) :)
Keep coming your observations :)
dude.... super cool....:D
Running is good, it makes me feel good.. even when I see someone running. Problem is people run to 'take over' others and forget the joy of running. If we can change that attitude...
nice! this was a different kind of post from what u usually write.. i like the ending lines best.. :)
hey good one..and infact very true
Hi Mahesh, get my comment as my entry already posted under the title Badly Battered and Bruised..
Do visit , I feel essence is the same....
very true....days r rolling...n d race is infinite.....finish line not visible......n everythin wud come 2 halt....once stopped running......but it doesnt mean nver 2 take part in d race.....
well quoted!
@ Siddhesh..
Thanks dude :)
@ Aativas..
Well said and i do agree with you.
Yes, it is all about attitude towards running and the race.
If we are running for ourselves, it doesn't matter how much you ran. Thanks for the feedback
@ Mehak...
Yea, bit out of my tracks. I use to write such things in my previous blog. And yes, i wrote this post starting with ending lines first. :). Am glad that you got them.
@ Chetan...
Thanks buddy :). Keep dropping by.
@ Ramesh sood ji...
Am glad that we wrote from the same perspective and am happy to respond in your blog. thanks :)
@ Beyond Horizon...
I didnt mean that we should never take part in the race. My point is for whom we are running. For someone else or for ourselves? Is it we are running someone Else's race altogether in the name growth where everything is achieved excluding us.
Thanks for the analysis buddy. Keep coming them. Keep questioning wisdomism . Thanks a bunch :)
it is easy to lose perspective in the rush of the race...
@ Mahesh
I felt your expression was beautiful just as wonderful as any prose...with sync of thoughts or idea and flow of words..!
~ Kindly forgive me for missing few words and bringing my comment into just a very odd notion...which I dint even realized until you brought into my light..
.....Wooooppps! O mY Dog!
-I did it again...
This time it was ‘S’ that I missed...
Vicious nahi “Viscous” that what I meant!
..."You are getting into Viscous Loop of Prose.."
“Loop”, as every time you have a new post…it becomes the best…You/your post has got trapped into the line of thread of excellence!
U rock!
~ Keep the Spark Alive..
how well does this depict the daily choirs of a corporate world's legion. Doing everything to make that mark, and for many of them, ending up with nothingness in the hand.
Nevertheless, people never stop, and won't stop until we can dream, for no dream can be too big.
Well said
@ Rachana...
Really...its oh my Dog!!!
One word turned everything upside down...
Thread of Excellence ....am not sure about it but yes, your words do make me more responsible while writing...
There is nothing to forgive, i am open to all sorts of feedback, if any.
Coming to loop of prose, am breaking it in my next couple of posts with lengthy narrations. And i will sure come back to the viscous loop of prose. I liked the word 'Viscous'
keep showering your sparks :)
cheers :)
@ Anonymous Someone...
Thanks for the words and the corollary. Keep coming your wise feedback and analysis.
Precinct!
"You sank others to stay afloat"
