Rainbow - 77 Fiction

Note:- 77 Fiction infers to fictional writings bounded to a maximum of 77 words.

 Rainbow

Chintu is a six year old boy who is quite good in pencil drawing for his age.

To encourage him , his mom bought colour pencils.....

One morning, he had drawn soothing, serene and beautiful waterfall in a forest backdrop and shown it to his mom.....

She asked him, "Why did you draw blue leaves and green sky....?"
He didn't say anything and smiled away to play Holi....

He is yet to know that he has colour blindness.

PS: This is my first 77-Fiction :)
PS* : I jus wanted to convey the mental preparedness of a budding kid with special talents to a rare hereditary deficiency. I left it to the readers imagination through the unsaid words.

Now this is a revelation that there is a genre called 77 fiction too..
Out-of-the-box thinking indeed...color-blindness and Holi in the same breath!!
...And if this is your first then CONGRATS, it was a real touching one!!

Moms’! At her best defending, promoting and protecting her child.
She gave him together the colors and smile in that little box of crayons.

~ For him each color of the box stands out as the event to create and celebrate.

O dear! Holi made all around look everything so different.
Perhaps this boy enjoyed his stage and phase to be always able to see the greenery around.

Even when he looks the sky, he enjoys the soothing green in his eyes.
~ Such an attitude towards the life can never bring color blindness to anyone ever at any conditions applied.

The imagination too has no limits and perhaps we all want to fantasy the beauty in bliss.

~ No wonder the day he will know he is color blind…he will be upset but looking back at his drawings he will again be only sublime!

It’s the freedom to select the celebration from the spill of colors!

I tried my imaginative wires to ignite and run thru to read his color-blind eyes but a colorful mind!

~Keep the Spark Alive..

@ Rachana...

I knew it when i wrote and left the unwritten words in the post that the feedback will be colourful by your flavours and fragrance and you did it with aplomb.....
Thanks for a hyper complementing response to the post with loads of optimism and pinch of objectivity. You just shaped my imagination with apt bounds and horizons.

cheerful sparks :)
